An internship is a structured immersion in the world of nonprofit work and an excellent way to get your foot in the door. Although there is never a guarantee that an internship will lead to a job offer, internships—especially intentional internships where students are both helping the organization and developing specific skills—are a great chance to show value to a potential employer. This webinar explores: how to research internship opportunities as well as the organizations offering them; maximizing internship time; and using internships to take the next career step.
This presentation was part of the Intern Bridge March 2010 Career Services Online Conference.
