The Simmons College Career Education Center and the Career Resource Library have collaborated to create an employment market trends wiki page and monthly e-mail newsletter, meant to keep administration, faculty, and staff abreast of developments in the job market and economy. The idea to create a website page and monthly newsletter came as a reaction to administration and academic departments asking the career office about the job market and recent economic trends. As the career experts on campus, our two offices feel that it is important to provide the latest economic reports and news articles that come from credible sources, are continuously updated, and are easily accessible to our academic community. This presentation tells the story of how we endeavor to do that.
