National Workshop Series
Intern Bridge is currently searching for workshop sites!
By choosing to host a Total Internship Workshop, universities across the nation have been able to bring together employers on their campus to ultimately improve programs for their students.
Please note that while we often partner with universities to host these programs, we have also worked with other civic and business organizations to produce the workshops. Please email workshops@internbridge.com for more information.

Q: What is the benefit for a university to host a Total Internship Management workshop?
A: Intern Bridge hosts one Total Internship Management workshop per region on an annual basis. Should your university be selected, the employers from the region will converge on your college campus for an entire day. This is an excellent opportunity to market your university and your students to these prospective employers. Intern Bridge provides specific time and support for this to occur. It is also an opportunity to get to know the employers, and to educate them about internship best practices that will positively impact your student population.
Q: What will Intern Bridge provide?
A: Intern Bridge will produce the workshop. This means we will take care of the presentation aspect including the PowerPoint presentation itself, all relevant handouts (we come prepared to distribute these), name badges, forms, etc. Intern Bridge will also handle all of the pre-production processes including billing, sales, and email follow-up. We will also spearhead the marketing effort. This includes a nationwide press release, and building relationships with local professional associations.
Q: What are the obligations\requirements of the university?
A: Your university must have space suitable for hosting a workshop. This means a room with a projector and screen as well as adequate seating for employers in roundtables. Your university must also either have an in-house catering service, or allow outside caterers onto your campus. Your university should have adequate parking for attendees. We also ask that you share your employer database with us. The database will be used solely for providing information about the program. It will be kept on our secure servers, and immediately deleted after the event. Intern Bridge has developed an agreement which we will sign with your university outlining the use of the database information. Lastly, we will also need a volunteer on the day of the workshop to assist with registration.
Q: How much do the workshops cost employers?
A: The cost to attend the full-day Total Internship Management workshop is typically $149, which includes the handouts binder, breakfast, and lunch. The cost is determined by several factors, including the date and location of the workshop, the geographic region, how many meals are included, and what type of handouts are provided.
Q: Who presents the workshops?
A: The workshops are typically presented by Intern Bridge Founder and President, Richard Bottner. Richard has been invited to speak for numerous organizations and associations. He is the author of Total Internship Management: The Employers Guide To Building The Ultimate Internship Program. In 2008, Richard was named to Business Week's Top 25 U.S. Entrepreneurs Under 25 and the Human Capital Institute's College Recruiting Advisory Panel.
He is a member of the Northeast Human Resources Association where he serves on the College Relations Committee, and he is a board member of the New England Association of Cooperative Education and Field Experience. He is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, the American Society for Training and Development, and the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
