School's Out - How Can I Keep My Interns Happy?

Presented by: Laura Neidert, Assistant Director and Internship Coordinator, Hampden-Sydney College

Wednesday, February 11, 2009. 1:00pm to 2:00pm, EST.

About The Program

Are you an employer who’s bringing on a large class of interns? Do you have to work hard to convince today’s students that your city is hip, cool, and happening? Do you wish that you had some help in getting your interns connected to the city around them?

Summer intern retention programs are springing up around the country, from the Midwest to Florida. These programs typically include an opportunity for interns across the city to get to know each other, have fun, and learn about their city-in the hopes that maybe they’ll want to start their careers there in the future.

Sign onto this Webinar to learn about some current programs across the country, their successes and challenges, and why this matters to the economic health of your area.
