While "I want to do good" or "I want a job with meaning" are great starting places, they're not specific enough to help your students find a social impact job, let alone develop a career. Self-assessment is a key step in any job search, but for students who are looking to do social impact work, there is the extra layer of identifying their passion or an issue on which they want to work. This session will provide specific resources, ideas, and frameworks you can use to help your students figure out exactly how and where they want to do good, and most importantly, why.
This presentation was part of the Intern Bridge March 2010 Career Services Online Conference.
The cost of this archived program is $60.
