For students who aren’t interested in pursuing a permanent staff position right after graduation or who don’t know about the alternatives, there is a range of options that can be excellent first steps in creating a long-term social impact career. These include a term of service (i.e. Americorps, City Year), graduate degrees programs, and fellowship opportunities. Participants would walk away with a much broader understanding of post-graduation options that can be excellent starting places for social impact careers.
