About The Program Return To The Archive Index

As the traditional lines blur between nonprofits, government, and business, there are opportunities and challenges to developing careers in this new landscape. Some of the career options that will be discussed in this session are social entrepreneurship, corporate intrapreneurship, and CSR. Social entrepreneurship is a rapidly developing and changing field in which business and nonprofit leaders design, grow, and lead mission-driven enterprises. Corporate intrapreneurship is working for existing companies to create change from within. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) departments or positions are becoming increasingly common, but are usually only found in larger corporations. This session will provide you with information about how you can help your student explore and understand these emerging career options.

This presentation was part of the Intern Bridge March 2010 Career Services Online Conference.
